Vlasic makes mind up

Nikola Vlasic has made his mind up over his West Ham future, according to a new report.

The Croatian flop is out on loan at Torino in Italy, and he has been in impressive form for the Serie A side.

There have been a variety of reports in the country suggesting that Torino have made a decision to sign Vlasic permanently when they get the chance, either in January or the summer.

The deal would cost around £12m and a new report from TuttoMercatoWeb claims that Vlasic has absolutely zero desire to return to London.

He has communicated that to Torino, and it seems they will make a real play to sign him in the next transfer window.

It’s little surprise that Vlasic has no desire to come back, as he was roundly awful during his time with the Hammers, and only ever managed to score once.

If he stays in Italy, all’s well that ends well.

  1. Let’s be fair he’s not good enough for us , he’s doing well so best for both parties if he stays put & we get some cash !

  2. A complete and utter exaggeration to write that Vlasic was ’roundly awful’ during his time at West Ham. He showed, when correctly deployed as an attacking midfielder or as an out and out attacker, glimpses of the skill that he has currently displayed at Torino. But too often he was stuck out on the left wing or slung on as a substitute in any available slot.
You really shouldn’t let your prejudices overwhelm your objectivity!

    • agreed. referring to him as a flop and awful is unfair, considering he was played out of his preferred postion whenever he got the fewest of game-time minutes. we completely wasted a season of his career, to be fair. why is he so good elsewhere when he gets the chance?
