Vlasic twist

West Ham flop Nikola Vlasic may not end up moving to Serie A after all.

A new report in Italy has claimed that Torino, the club he has joined on loan from the Hammers, and there is an option for them to buy him for €22m. That equates to around £19m.

However, the new report from Calciopolis claims that Torino believe the fee may be a little high, while there is also said to be interest from AC Milan.

The San Siro club are also hoping to receive a discount from the Irons, though, as they also believe that £19m is too steep.

The Hammers, for their part, are said to have made it clear that they are in no mood to lower the price, and that talks are scheduled for the end of the season.

Vlasic has impressed since joining Torino and has scored three goals in 10 games in Serie A.

  1. In Italy he has again shown what a good player he can be, so if Moyes would play him in his correct position I can’t see why we shouldn’t welcome him back, but whether he’d want to return after how he was treated remains to be seen. AC Milan are the current Serie A champions, so if he is good enough for them, how come he’s a bit-part player, shunted out to the wing when he does get an opportunity with us?
