Vote of confidence for Feghouli

fegOver 72% of supporters believe Sofiane Feghouli should remain a Hammer after the summer transfer window.

In a Claret and Hugh poll of over 1,500 fans, 1,107 (72.16%) said we should keep the 27-year-old who had a good run of form in the last few games.

Nearly 18% (276) said we should sell the Algerian footballer if an offer came in while nearly 10% (151) were undecided.

French-born Algerian Feghouli started his career in France with Grenoble before he got his big move to Spanish giants Valencia in 2010. He became a key player for Valencia, scoring 30 goals in 198 appearances for the Club.

Last June the 27-year-old joined West Ham on a free transfer on a three-year deal and has been a figure who has caused different opinions among the fans.

He managed 1,040 minutes on the pitch this season scoring three goals and making three assists.

  1. I am glad to be one of the many on this, other than a couple of games he has played in I have witnessed someone that is trying their hardest and is improving. He looked a lot better centrally in the last game than he has out wide so could be a real option as a number 10 with Antonio outside him on the right.

  2. Me too. I would keep him. Whilst he is apt to balloon his shots, he does work selflessly. He will improve. The Burnley goal was beautifully worked and taken and shows him at his best.

Depending on our Summer window business, I would like to keep Feghouli as a squad player.
