Ward-Prowse makes his feelings clear

|

James Ward-Prowse could hardly have done more to help the Hammers to victory over Manchester City.

He scored a fine goal and was here, there and everywhere in midfield where he and the other Hammers more than held their own.

However, he was bitterly disappointed that the Irons failed as he believes they should have done when City took the game by the scuff of the neck as the game reached a bitterly disappointing climax to the game as we sunk to that 1-3 defeat

The Hammers star told the BBC: “Disappointing. When you come against a Man City team you’ll be up against it and sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say fair play.

“All of their goals were of real quality, just a shame we couldn’t respond.”

West Ham will be in Europa League action on Thursday night when they will take on Backa Topola.
