Watch out for Hammers Deadline Day clues during the Bournemouth game next Thursday evening!
We wait with bated breath to see the Hammers team against the Cherries with the winter window slamming shut a couple of hours after the match writes Hughie Southon.
So far of course we have just the one loan signing through the doors in Kalvin Phillips but there is plenty of chat – as always – about who could be here by the day the window closes.
Watch out for Deadline Day clues DURING Bournemouth game
One thing is for sure. If David Sullivan isn’t in the director’s box it will almost certainly mean he is at home, hopefully finalising any late arrival/s as was the case when Jarrod Bowen agreed very late on Deadline Day.
If, however, he is in his usual seat we can more or less take it for granted that all our business will have been done but who has arrived in the meantime is as big a question as who will have left.
The likes of Ibrahim Osman, Jonathon Rowe, and even Callum Wilson have been mentioned – whether all, any, or none of them are here we wait and see.
On the outwards front Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals may or may not be around with the 22 wanted apparently by the likes of former club Brentford and Everton and the No 8 by Real Betis.
So look for clues next Thursday – will Sullivan be seated in his usual position? Will Tim Steidten join David Moyes for the warm ups as he has done all season? Will any new players other than Phillips have arrived or may?
The absence of both the main shareholder and technical director from the match will tell us much!
