We are getting closer – Moyes

David Moyes admits he may completely rotate his team against Brentford in the FA Cup third round this weekend, but feels that he and his squad are getting closer to finding their form.

The Hammers have been in dire form in the Premier League and, while they drew 2-2 with Leeds in midweek, they have not won a league game since October.

Still, the boss admits he may make changes against Brentford, as he looks to bring some of his fringe players into the fold and give them a chance to impress.

He told reporters: “I’m actually tempted to give as many players an opportunity as I can. That’s what I’m thinking. At the moment we are trying to find a winning formula. We are getting closer to getting it. We are not miles off.

“We roughly think we know what would be the best but if your best is not winning then you have to try and find something else. We are looking around. We might change it around a bit. I think you will find a lot of Premier League clubs change it around at this stage of the cup.”
