Swansea central defender Kyle Bartley claims Saturday’s visitors have nothing to fear from Andy Carroll – which makes you wonder why he mentions it!

The record signing of course set up both goals in the team’s 2-0 win over the Swans last season but was sent off in the ridiculous Chico Flores affair.

Manager of the time Michael Laudrup was sacked soon afterwards and the feeble Flores followed in August.

Meanwhile, 23 year old Bartley told The Sun: “We’ve got nothing to fear from Andy Carroll – whoever we face we know what we have to do against certain players.

“We don’t want to be thinking too much about a year ago – we just go there full of confidence.”
