We salute Irons fan power and the Watford boss

|

Flores (1)Our fantastic fans reached a new high last night – we all know you are the best in the land but this morning I pay humble homage to you all and indeed Watford managerĀ  Quique Sanchez Flores and the hugely respectful Hornets fans.

There had been very little publicity given, indeed CandH had been asked to spread the word about the round of applause for Dylan Tombides, on 38 minutes.

Yet as the clock ticked to the seventh minute before half time thunderous acclaim ripped out around Upton Park in memory of the much loved teenager who lost his battle against cancer.

It was an incredible display of Fan Power from those who have taken the youngster into their hearts and never intend to forget him.

It was a deeply moving moment but what was fabulous was to see the Hornets boss join in the full minute despite being caught in the heat of what was eventually a losing battle.

You lot really are the best and Mr Flores we all salute yours and yours and the supporters humanity – some things are bigger even than the game!

Thanks to our friends at KUMB.com for the pic.
