West Ham United fans are demanding answers from the club over a ticketing policy that appears to be allowing away supporters into home sections at the London Stadium.
During a recent Fan Advisory Board (FAB) meeting, supporter representatives raised concerns about P1 Travel, an authorised ticket reseller, and whether their involvement was contributing to the issue.
Responding to the concerns, West Ham Vice Chair Karren Brady explained that P1 Travel became the club’s exclusive Official Ticket and Hospitality Partner in 2021. The company’s role, she said, is to support West Ham’s international presence, providing overseas fans with access to tickets, match breaks, and hospitality packages.
Brady noted that P1 Travel helps grow the club’s global fanbase and expand its supporter database. She also highlighted the club’s group bookings process, which has welcomed fan groups such as the Polish Hammers and Belgian Irons, each bringing 50+ supporters to the stadium.
The club added that P1 Travel explicitly states on its website that tickets sold are for home supporters only. Fans who spot away supporters in the home sections are advised to report incidents via the ‘Support’ text number or alert the nearest steward.
P1 Travel has previously come under fire from supporters after it was discovered they were selling tickets online at prices lower than those available to season ticket holders or Claret Members. Those offers were promptly shut down by the club once fans raised the issue.
Despite reassurances, frustration among fans remains. The sight of away supporters celebrating goals in home sections has undermined the matchday experience for many loyal Hammers, and pressure is growing on the club to review the partnership and tighten enforcement procedures.
There are plenty of tickets available for general sale for every home game. if P1 doesn’t sell them, the club does. The real problem is the stewarding is bog standard, and away fans are not ejected if found in home section.
Of course the club should require previous booking history or a membership to get tickets, but that (especially the membership requirement) would mean even more people buying from P1. Because nobody really wants to pay £40 for membership + match ticket for going to one or two games per season. And yes, there are real fans who do.
Why worry about this? Watch the football not the crowd. Much more to be concerned about going on on the pitch rather than trying to pick out infidels and complaining.
Maybe the solution to your ‘problem’ might be to have sections of the London Stadium for undeclared and unregistered. This could include all of us who are excluded from buying tickets under the Home/Away discriminatory system.
It is understandable that our more flakey and fragile West Ham fans will be outraged and upset by the undermining of their matchday experience. Lead the way, Sean. Give them a shoulder to cry on. No need to kick up a fuss.

It will be happening again on Sunday, P1 are selling tickets all around the ground at prices cheaper than offered by West Ham. . As for any security check it just says not available to Spurs fans., no doubt any trouble won’t be the clubs fault…. Of course not!
Away fans have there own section so that’s where they should be and the stewards should do their job properly the minute they spot an away fan removed them to the away section instead of constantly telling home fans to sit down and not bothered about away fans unless something kicks off ,we really need our own stewards not hired doormen
