Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said he hopes West Ham and Dimitri Payet could sort out their differences.
The Premier League manager says he is completely against the January transfer and says these kind of situations are completely against the spirit of football.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference Wenger told reporters when asked:
“The vibes you get from outside are not very positive, I must say. I hope just that West Ham and Payet can sort this situation out, because from the outside it looks very complicated.
“I always was against the January transfer window. You would not have this kind of story. I believe in a way it’s easy news and easy interest for the Premier League, but on the other hand I believe it’s completely against the spirit of what a football club should be.”
You forget though 32,Wenger never sees anything
Penalty claim for the opposition he doesnt see it.Bad tackle by a Gooner he didnt see it.Penalty claim for Arsenal & he has 20/20 vision even through his milk bootle googles 😁
God knows what that statement by him actually means but one thing is for sure he couldn’t give a toss about West Ham and in his full statement he says he doesn’t understand it because Payet doesn’t have a reputation for this behaviour which shows how much he knows…
