West Ham approach unlikely despite agent hint

|

Very Low RaterReports that midfielder Nahitan Nandez could be West Ham bound seem very hard to believe.

TuttoMercatoWeb quote the agent of Cagliari star Nahitan Nandez has dropped an update on the future of his client.

Multiple reports from Italy claim that both West Ham and Leeds could enter a bidding war for Nandez this summer.

The La Nuova Sardegna newspaper and Sport Italia both claimed the Hammers were tracking the Uruguay international after an impressive season in Serie A.

Starting 31 matches for Cagliari over 2020/21, the 25-year-old was arguably a major reason they avoided relegation to Serie B.

Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Nandez’s agent Pablo Bentancur has dropped an update on the player’s future in Italy and confirms that he has received multiple offers for his client, including one from England.

However, the report should be taken with a pinch of salt as the position is not one being prioritised by David Moyes this summer.

We give this transfer rumour our lowest rating.
