West Ham are a worry says pundit

|

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson doesn’t expect too much from the Hammers today against Chelsea predicting a 2-1 loss at Stamford Bridge/.

The pundit told BBC website readers “West Ham are a worry. I thought this would be a season they would not be so inconsistent with better players in the squad.

Obviously there have been injuries, but Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is under pressure and there is a real chance they could slip into the bottom three. Chelsea are in good form and I can see them just winning this.

For once it is hard to disagree to Lawro analysis, West Ham are a real worry with so many inconsistencies this season.  The pundits and bookies all tip Chelsea to walk this as there in good form but if there is one thing I have learnt before West Ham is we can be unpredictable.  While rolling over and dropping into the bottom three is what we all expect the Hammers often prove us wrong by nicking a result and doing the opposite.

One bookmaker is offering odds of 40/1 for a West Ham one-nil away win.
