West Ham are ready to sell first team duo

West Ham are ready to sell first team duo  Nayef Aguerd and Said Benrahma hoping interest will emerge before the end of the winter window.

Aguerd’s lack of appearances in the build up to Afcon allegedly after a long period of sickness cleared up in time for him to join Morocco, throwing anxiety into the minds of backroom staff.

That, plus his regular lack of form and various injury issues, has focused minds and he is now in a position where if the club can get the £30 million they paid for him – or close to it – he looks certain to be on his way.

There have been regular rumours that interest has been shown by Saudi clubs but our main contact explained yesterday that had certainly not been the case adding: “We wouldn’t mind some over the top Saudi offers for some of our players!”

Benrahma has also become a big disappointment with the backroom powers-that-be and is another on the exit list should a deal be acceptable although interest from French  clubs has been denied.

Ben Johnson is still seeking around £60k a week to remain at the club which is unacceptable to the board and unless he moderates his hopes he too will definitely be on his way.

How many chances has Aguerd created with that wand of a left-foot? VERY good passer of the ball… maybe that’s why Moyes doesn’t want him!!

Aguerd is class plays comfortably on the left side selling him would be an error. I agree if West Ham want to sell got to get worthwhile amount and a replacement ready

Aguerd is class, if we were to sell it would take an offer in the region of 60m. I do not see any logic in selling him, there have been unnecessary critism of a few errors that if you look at them were not necessarily his fault. I dont see any truth in this at all. Johnson and Benrahma i wud agree completely. Antonio or Ings i wud add to this list for this windiw.
