Reports from Turkey suggest that West Ham are interested in acquiring the services of Kerem Akturkoglu from Galatasaray.
On Tuesday, the press began circulating stories about Akturkoglu being on the radar of not only West Ham but also Spurs and Arsenal. His recent goal against Manchester United in the Champions League has brought him into close scrutiny from English clubs. Spurs are believed to have sent scouts to monitor the player in and report back to Ange Postecoglou, who is thought to be a fan.
This season, Akturkoglu has made significant contributions, being involved in six goals and providing five assists for Galatasaray across various competitions.
Primarily a left winger, the 24-year-old has displayed versatility by playing on the opposite flank and even as a second striker, a trait that might appeal to Hammers manager David Moyes. Since joining Galatasaray in 2020, Akturkoglu has amassed a total of 34 goals and 37 assists in 135 matches.
As a Turkey international with 22 caps for his country, Akturkoglu is currently under contract with Galatasaray until the summer of 2026.
