West Ham have more of their players left in the UEFA Euro 2o20 Tournament finals than Real Madrid.
Just three players from nine are remaining for Los Blancos with
Raphael Varane – France, David Alaba – Austria, Luka Modric – Croatia, Toni Kroos – Germany, Gareth Bale – Wales and Karim Benzema – France all sent home.
That leaves Thibaut Courtois – Belgium, Andriy Lunin – Ukraine and Eden Hazard – Belgium.
West Ham have four Hammers in the tournament last eight with Declan Rice – England, Andriy Yarmlenko – Ukraine, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal – Czech Republic all of which are regular starters for their national teams.
Rice faces Yarmoleenko in Rome on Saturday night at 8 pm in the England v Ukraine quarter-final. Real Madrid’s Ukranian goal keeper Andriy Lunin is yet to get any game time in the Euro finals.
Meanwhile, Hammers Soucek and Coufal face Denmark in Baku also on Saturday with a kick-off of 5 pm. Real Madrid’s two players for Belgium play Italy in Munich at 8 pm this evening.
