West Ham United are casting their net in search of attacking reinforcements, with their latest target being a surprise name: Rwan Seco, a 23-year-old Brazilian striker currently playing for Ludogorets in Bulgaria.

The Hammers have reportedly submitted a €9 million bid for Seco, reflecting their desire to strengthen their attacking options. This move comes amid potential player departures and a clear need for a dedicated centre-forward.

Seco’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed. He played a key role in Ludogorets’ Bulgarian league victory last season, contributing to a significant 26 goals (both scoring and assisting). This impressive record has caught the eye of West Ham’s scouting team.

While Seco’s price tag and relative obscurity suggest he might not be the first-choice striker West Ham covets, he could offer valuable depth and future potential. The club is reportedly still pursuing a more established option to lead the line.

Rwan Seco’s potential arrival at West Ham would provide depth and competition in the attacking department. While the Hammers prioritise a starting striker, Seco offers an intriguing prospect for the future, especially considering his young age and impressive record in Bulgaria.

Sounds like a sensible move if he suits Loppy’s style and his age means he’ll be content to watch and learn from someone more established.

I recall none of us really know anything about one Diafra Sakho when he joined us, and he turned out to be great!

Great point. It would be a more sensible option in price and maybe be a diamond in the rough.
Sackho is a valid point and was a great player and at a decent figure.
I’m hoping Tim can build a team that’s exciting just like he did at Bayer

Over a short period he did well , but ended poorly , so more background investigation required with this lad
