West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen is a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, Claret & Hugh have discovered.
The Hammersâ top scorer has remained a consistent threat in front of goal despite a tough campaign for the club.
Bowen has five years remaining on the seven-year deal he signed with West Ham and has shown no desire to push for a move. After scoring the winner in the Europa Conference League final, heâs already cemented his place as a modern-day club legend. Now settled in Essex with partner Dani Dyer, daughter of celebrity Hammers fan Danny Dyer, Bowenâs off-the-pitch life appears peachy.
However, West Hamâs struggles havenât gone unnoticed by rival clubs further up the table, and thereâs growing speculation that big clubs (and Spurs) may look to poach the Hammersâ best talent.
Newcastle United are one such club, and when Claret & Hugh put the rumour to a trusted football insider, the response was eye-opening:
âThey would be interested, but so are a lot of clubs.
Bowen seems dedicated to West Ham, but if he sees PaquetĂĄ and Kudus leave without anyone decent coming in, maybe heâd be tempted?
West Ham might struggle again next seasonâand a lot of players could want out.â
Then came the bombshell:
âI think Spurs are interested and will make changes in the summer.â
Whilst I was quick to point out that Bowen to Spurs borders on heresy, and I personally don’t believe it would happen, the Newcastle links are more concerning.
The Magpies are a club on the rise, and with West Ham needing a serious rebuild, Bowenâs loyalty might not be enough to keep him at the club long-term.
In short, the Hammers may need more than just sentiment and the in-laws to fend off growing summer interest.
Interesting article states ‘a lot of players might want out next season’.
If all goes according to plan these players would have only just arrived.
As with Rice Bowen has already had sufficient chance to leave but hasn’t.
If he had ambitions of trophies he would have already moved on.
Can’t imagine he would go to Spurs as the love/hate relationship runs deep.
Unless Spurs can qualify for champion league they’re not in much better position than whu.
Isak quoted at ÂŁ100m/Rice was same which puts Bowen in same bracket.
Unless need for funds a derisory bid is accepted on par with other players.
What this amounts to is Bowen will be staying put.
Nearly every article cane’s Sullivan unless these comments are sent to him very repetitive.
If we sold Bowen to spurs, I’d never watch west ham again.
We’re not an attractive club at the moment. We won’t get anyone decent. Loosing out to potentially Fulham for Angel Gomes who would transform our midfield is where we are currently at.
Sullivan and Brady both need to go. We’re an embarrassment.
Jarrod’s going nowhere. He is where he wants to be and his ambitions lie with making West Ham even more successful than just the one European trophy. Glory days are ahead of us. Jarrod at the helm.
COYI
It’s very true Bowen could be sold Everyone forgetting Liverpool interested
Klopp was a fan . No evidence whatsoever slot is .
In just three comments we have someone poking fun at a personâs height and another using the âYâ word, a word considered by the FA to be âderogatory and offensiveâ.
What ever an individualâs moral compass surely the collective of Claret & Hugh have both a legal and moral duty to maintain basic standards?
Really? what do the Spud fans sing? ahhh yes Yid army so how can one offend such a group of people…….
If he went to Spurs the club might as well fold, as that would be final straw and weâd have 15,000 home gates – it wonât happen, though, we donât trade with the yids.
But, if the club continues to be run like a pub team it is understandable if Jarrod decides he wants move, as heâs a top player and wants to win trophies.
Ambition and West Ham donât go hand in hand and until the Porn Baron decides he wants more time over the Allotment, we will continue to be an embarrassment.
From all I have heard from this great rebuild is that we are going to sell the only few decent players we have. I canât see Bowen leaving but it sounds like he will be the only decent player left there. We are sleepwalking into a disaster under this manager.
Sullivans the problem at this football club . Not the managers . Most incompetent chairman in football by a long way .
Let him go Sullivan needs the money for a new pair of platform shoes
