West Ham are said to be interested in Mexican striker Armando “Hormiga” González Alba irrespective of which division the club are in next season.
The 22-year-old made his senior appearance for Mexico against Paraguay in November and boasts a goal every other game for Liga MX club Deportivo Guadalajara.

González was linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund in January but the Bundesliga team are believed to have pulled out. It now leaves West Ham in a straight shootout with Celtic and Feyenoord, who are understood to be struggling to put together a financial package.
