West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City will all be live on Sky Sports this Sunday as the race for European qualification reaches its climax. Sky announced their schedule this evening as the relegation of Norwich and Newcastle was confirmed.
The fourth and final Champions League spot will be decided on the final day of the season with the two Manchester clubs scrapping it out for qualification.
Manchester United’s home game against Bournemouth will be live on Sky Sports 1 from 2.30pm with Louis van Gaal’s side knowing that a win is necessary if they are to have any chance of finishing above their neighbours. Defeat could see them finish as low as seventh.
On Sky Sports 2 from 2.55pm you can see Manchester City’s trip to Swansea. A draw should be enough to ensure Pep Guardiola will inherit a side in the Champions League play-off round next season – but a home win would hand the initiative to Manchester United.
On Sky Sports 3 from 2.55pm, West Ham travel to Stoke knowing that it would take a mathematical miracle to finish fourth, but Europa League qualification is in their hands.
Every club receives £877,160 for each game shown live on British TV. West Ham had 13 games shown live last season netting them over £11m.
Yeah Nav,pretty much the same feeling about celebrating Hippos mighty survival campaign.Has Jasper Winecoolers party finished? Surprisingly I never got an invite for some cake & Bucks Fizz 🙂
No comment.
Oh it’s only the young kid getting all congratulatory,he is a big Sammy Baby fan. That Jasper Winecooler or whatever the hell his name is,haha
I imagine Samuel of Dudley is already praising his players… “Well, I have good players… it’s not for me to judge my job, BUT I made a miracle, I saved them thanks to my experience, thanks to my tactics, thanks to my charisma, thanks to my sophisticated substitutions. They’re going to erect a statue in my honor”
Yes matte ! There’s a rumour that they’re going to carve a bogey out of all his disregarded gum ??
Did you know gum spelled backwards is MUG !
haha … I like it John… you never stop learning… 😀
Lol,I need a laydown. That’s all I need,Irons fans who think he is THE man.Maybe a cold shower first to check I’m not having a nightmare & they in fact ain’t celebrating his survival.
You ain’t the only one he gave cold shivers to Jack don’t you worry about that.I was thinking lastnight how different this season as the last at UP would have been with him still around. We have been well lucky to have gotten Bilic & have had such a wonderful season.Clearly you can’t know for sure but I reckon this last season could have gone out with a whimper with him still in charge. One thing for sure,I wont be congratulating him for keeping Sunderland up,screw that!
Nah, that’s impossible Ty, they have always hated the Mighty Samuel, they always fought to kick him out… you must have misinterpreted that… lol 😉
I should have known better at me age but I really wanted the man to get relegated.Very childish I know but I couldn’t stand him.His very being in our great ground gave me the willies. He was like a huge boil on my aris that wouldn’t go away. The day he finally buggered off was a day I smiled for hours. As the old saying goes I wouldn’t have peed on him if he was on fire.He gave me the cold shivers.
Anyone got an invite to the Wetpants party to celebrate Hippo heads survival. Some of them are overjoyed by his survival.Long live their hero.Congratulations from some of his disciples.Maybe some Lemon drizzle cake will come out & party poppers will be let off.
Just got back from the party Ty, there was party poppers, Dundee cake, Bellend with his top off hanging from a tree and some others holding A5 posters of the Slug in the air and crying just amazed how they all fitted into Rolfes kitchen…
