West Ham expressed their concerns about crime and muggings at Pudding Mill Lane close to the London Stadium.
The issue was raised at a recent Newham led London Stadium Safety Advisory Group meeting with a number of stakeholders including Met Police.
Minutes from the June meeting say ‘Police to share details with local police and visit West Ham offices to speak to staff members’
The wording suggests West Ham employees have been victims of crime in the Pudding Mill Lane area which has a Docklands Light Railway station which many staff and supporters use.
The meeting also heard that CCTV was not fully operational at the recent Southampton game at the end of the season with the chair of the SAG Sheila Roberts reminding London Stadium 185 “One of the conditions on the premises licence is that recording is kept for 31 days”
The police added there had been a racial abuse allegation at the Southampton fixture.
