West Ham cool on injury ravaged target

|

West Ham are being regularly linked with Arsenal defender Reiss Nelson and we can confirm that he is a player the Hammers have considered.

The 23 year old has come through the Gooners academy and is hesitating over signing a new deal at the Emirates.

However. the right winger however has a pretty grim injury track record and that is seriously putting the club off  moving for him even on what would be a free transfer.

He has made just nine Premier League appearances this season after spending the last two seasons on loan at Hoffenheim and Feyenoord.

But it now seems unlikely a deal to bring him to the Hammers will happen given that injury track record which has seen him miss 64v games over four seasons.

He has suffered various problems which have included hamstring, thigh, back, knee and ankle issues along with other knocks.

An agent source told us that this is a very good player but that the Hammers had cooled their interest on the back of the injury problems.
