West Ham court case to be live streamed

Live-streaming of selected court cases will begin tomorrow on 15 November 2018 to improve public access to, and understanding of, the work of the courts say the Courts and Tribunal Judiciary in an article published yesterday.

In the case selected for the public pilot, West Ham United and E20 which manages the former Olympic stadium are in dispute as to the seating capacity that should be made available to the football club for its home fixtures at what is now known as the London stadium in Stratford, East London.

The case is due to start on Monday 19th November and is scheduled to last a number of weeks.

A preliminary hearing is due to be heard this Thursday 15th November which is set to be streamed live on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi3XytDJY8a3I9_vL7A_5SQ/live

It is thought that tomorrow’s hearing will focus on an ongoing dispute about the disclosure of documents prior to the main case starting next week.
