West Ham defender linked to Roma move

Angelo_Ogbonna_BGR-ITA_2012Reports in Italy claim Roma will look to make a move for West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, despite the player having only moved to Hammers in the summer and settling in well.

The 27-year-old Italian international joined the Hammers from Juventus just over six months ago.

An article in La Gazzetta dello Sport says the player’s services have been offered to the Giallorossi, who have struggled at times defensively, and they are weighing up whether to make their interest more concrete.

The story has all the hallmarks of an agent inspired story. The West Ham centre back has made 15 appearances this season, 96 clearances and 21 tackles.

  1. Makes no sense at all, hes slow but he’s still a double valuable player to our squad. I hope this isn’t true at all
