West Ham and London Stadium Operator Lock Horns Again
E20 Stadium accounts released earlier this week at Companies house reveal West Ham paid £4.4m in rent during 2024 up from £4m in 2023
That is a 76% increase from the £2.5m per annum rent the Hammers initially paid in 2016 when they moved into the former Olympic stadium
The accounts also reveal that West Ham took the London Stadium owners to high court on 12 December 2024 to appeal sums paid to E20 in relation to Daniel Krenitsky’s 2021 investment in West Ham.
West Ham reluctantly paid £6.5m to E20 Stadium in March 2023 but claim the calculation was incorrect and the correct total should have been £2.55m so are demanding £3.95m in rebates. The judgement is expected before the end of January.

E20 Stadium which own the London Stadium have announced losses of £51.2m for 2024 with an operating loss of £32.5m and the remainder due to financing costs.
Come on you Gunners, 13 Titles and 14 FA CUPS . The Emirates still ain’t the same as Highbury and probably same with you lot with Upton park. Old Grounds had character and history
E20 should be paying us to take it off their hands. Then we can discard what remaining sentiment is left, bulldoze it and build something befitting our ‘massive’ club. Whilst I can see how it makes (and has always made) commercial sense to lease it, it’s removed the beating heart of our club and is a joke situation given the amount of money swilling around the Premier League these days. Hopefully when Sullivan is replaced as the arbiter of such decisions, the board will consider long term growth instead of short term penny pinching.
Wuft. With those crazy amounts of money being chased up then we can have the pick of all the world’s top strikers if paid out…
