West Ham deny the Scamacca rumour

West Ham deny the Scamacca rumour that our front man could be joining Roma on loan this summer.

Reports have emerged that the striker is on the Italian outfit’s wanted list and that the Serie A outfit have been in touch with the Hammers.

The are understood to see him as a possible loan option to replace the injured Tammy Abraham and have made contact with the Hammers according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Scamacca became a near marquee signing for the Hammers last season costing around £32 million from Sassuolo but his future has been shrouded in mystery on a couple of fronts.

First he changed agents when it was speculated that he was looking for a move back to his homeland. Then he suffered a knee injury which involved around half an hour’s surgery but was out for the rest of the season.

At the time of his agent change a key Claret and Hugh source said that he wouldn’t be surprised if the player might be looking for a move.

But tonight we were told there was no chance of the Roma move happening with the same source saying: Zero chance of that happening. I wish we were in a position to loan a player like Scamacca. It really is not going to happen.

So are you saying Moyes to go? No wa will he get to play under Moyes the way he did when scoring goals previously. Mibatch

I really hope he stays as I believe under the right manager playing the right way he would be unbelievable.
