A senior club insider has poured cold water on the chances of signing Jack Grealish on loan this summer.
Earlier reports suggested Graham Potter would be interested in a loan deal for the Manchester City player and that the midfielder could be interested too in a stint at the London Stadium after limited number of opportunities last season in the Premier League.
The club source responding Exclusively to Claret and Hugh about the report said “I doubt it, he is not the player he was two to three years ago”
Grealish is claimed to earn an eye watering £300,000 per week at Manchester City where he cost £100m in 2021 from Aston Villa.
The 29-year-old has seemingly fallen out of favour with Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola.
Aston Villa and Newcastle United have been linked in recent weeks, but it seems a move to West Ham remains extremely unlikely any time soon.

Another man city cast off, I hope we’ve learnt our lesson.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen despite the sources comments, we have a habit under this ownership of paying high loan fees for players past their best. McAtee and O Reilly would be great signings if we can get them and if that means taking Grealish too it would be ok.
We are after all supposedly close to signing another 29 year old in KWP despite having AWB and Diouf which seems an odd signing unless Scarles is going to be loaned out ?
NO,NO,NO, NO, If you all remember the game when Pablo Fornals was a metre away from the Cheating Grealish and he suddenly went down and formals booked he is an absolute Tosser if he wants to sign for WHU I will be mortified.
YET AGAIN NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
