West Ham Exclusive: Hammers Hit Back at Levy Lowball Kudus Bid

West Ham insiders have poured cold water on Spurs meeting their valuation of Mohammed Kudus in this summer transfer window.

Although Spurs are yet to make a formal offer they are thought to have made an informal inquiry through intermediaries around a potential bid worth £50m plus £5m of add-ons for the Ghanaian Hammer.

West Ham have made it clear they are holding firm to their valuation of £65m and have made it known via intermediaries that that is the minimum price level they want to achieve in this Summer transfer window.

Kudus returning to West Ham’s training ground

A club source is not convinced that Spurs will return with an improved number whether informal or formal and that introduces real doubt.

Despite reports it appears that Spurs are not going all out to make Kudus their number one target this summer and more likely that Kudus’s representatives are doing a lot of the talking in an attempt to get their client the move.

So if Spurs haven’t even made a formal offer, who is putting the news out to the media about multiple bids being turned down etc?

  • B says:

Kudus is being very poorly advised in all of this if you ask me. Smacks of Jermaine Defoe. Kudus clearly has talent going by his first season but teams worked him out. They worked out that he’s not a team player, doesn’t like to pass the ball, likes to over dribble. So last season teams were double or trebling up on him and robbing the ball back before he could get going or pass to a team mate. The same thing happened to Cole Palmer in the second half of last season.

West Ham have been through a rollercoaster and apart from Scarles and Bowen there’s not too much cheer about.
How about every Hammer on and off the pitch starts to be more positive. Keep the quality players and look towards the youth.
Either them in the boardroom, the team and us fans stand together or it’s back into the 1st Div.

I’d be worried about paying big money for kudus
    Simply because of his attitude
His got plenty of ability there’s no doubt that
But the way he downed tools last season because he wasn’t happy
Is not the way a proper player goes about things
He hasn’t got the ability up upstairs to a top player

  • Tottenham Lee says:

had a great first season but was pretty average last. Clearly has ability, mentality to be a winner??? Eze for Spurs would be a better bet

  • Kenny Irons says:

I think was Gonzo who said Levy’s “add ons” were £5 mil’ each if they won Prem’ and Champions League! so basically no add ons 🤣🤣🤣
Why are we even dealing with Dr.Crippen ???

  • Paul Basnett says:

Yet another day of no progress made.

This at least partly because the club let the world know we have to sell to buy so what club would pay our valuation, just wait and ramp up the pressure.

Why the club said there was finance without selling players when clearly there isn’t is disingenuous.

The club is creating such negativity around the place.

  • George G says:

Tell Levy to do one! Add-ons like Spurs winning the league and even the CL are a complete joke. They won the Europe playing against a a Sunday pub team and they are getting carried away

£50m for Kudus is a total joke. Even £65m is too low, compared to the shit players that they have and value for similar amounts
