West Ham reveal Lucas Paqueta Update exclusively to C&H

Lucas Paqueta’s FA hearing will run through April and May until June according to a club senior source speaking exclusively to Claret and Hugh this morning.

The hearing was initially scheduled to last three weeks but passed that last week as revealed by Claret and Hugh when we were told the hearing would surpass the original dates.

Lucas Paquta will continue to be available to play for the remainder of the season matching what a source close to the player told Claret and Hugh before the hearing started.

While this is welcome news for the club the report that the FA have offered a deal for lesser suspension has been flatly denied by the club insider.

The source told us “The hearing runs into June. Talk of a deal is nonsense, FA have said zero.

The problem is it is an FA-appointed Tribunal, they are the prosecution and select the judge!”

This whole case wreaks of conspiracy . The accusations leaked to Man City in order to sabotage the Paqueta transfer and then the faked phone issue as well as the investigation allowed to drag on . The big six are certainly laughing or congratulating themselves for job done on Westham . Westham denied 85 million and a top class player performances has certainly contributed to the last two poor seasons . Now lets investigate the bank accounts and life styles of FA officials for the next two years as well as the previous two years . I wonder what dark secrets they’re hiding .

He’s dead man walking. The FA cannot and will not make themselves look stupid with this one and relent. He’ll be found guilty, they’ve made sure of that with being trial process. They have onus to bring a case that makes him guilty UNTIL he proves himself innocent in front of chosen people by the people bringing the case. It’s a foregone conclusion. The FA are an old boys network and one which have their backs up against the wall publicly on this one.

    Outrageous clutching at straws
    Hang in there PAC COYI

  • Chris Easy says:

I do not know why it’s taking so long but consider the longer it goes on the F.A. will be sued whatever the result plus the Brazil FA did not find a case against him

This is rubbish, either they have hard evidence or they don’t – and if they do, then should have been done & dusted. FA muppets, they’re all bent !

  • A M says:

If Paquta was guilty they should have had it done and dusted after 3 weeks unless they are trying to find something ANYTHING to prove themselves right which would be totally wrong I can understand why it has taken longer with Man City as it covers many years but ALL I can see is among the 3 panel JUDGES There is 1 or 2 that clearly have a god complex

  • Graham Watts says:

FA and Premier League Tribunals are becoming a farce, both in length of time it takes to get cases heard eg Man City and length of process. Outcomes are not consistent and costs astronomical with the money better used for grassroots game! Time for the Goverment yo intervene!
