West Ham United are reportedly eyeing Brøndby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden, with the Danish club willing to sell for around £12 million. That’s according to a report from The Mail Online, which aligns closely with claims from ExWHUEmployee that Graham Potter and recruitment chief Kyle Macaulay will target the Danish, Belgian, and Dutch markets this summer.

The 23-year-old Danish forward has been on West Ham’s radar since the start of the year, shortly after Potter’s arrival. Kvistgaarden enjoyed an outstanding campaign last season, notching 17 goals and establishing himself as one of the Danish Superliga’s standout performers.

It’s currently unclear whether the move for Kvistgaarden is a contingency plan in the event West Ham miss out on Belgian striker Lucas Stassin. What is certain, however, is that the Hammers will face stiff competition for the Dane’s signature.

Celtic are reportedly preparing a £12 million bid of their own, and the Glasgow giants are believed to be further along in negotiations. If the Irons are serious about landing Kvistgaarden, we’ll need to act fast.

We can’t sign all of these players. We need 2 strikers; if we get 2 of Guessand, Alper-Yilmaz, Stassin, or this lad I’ll be very happy. The lower the cost the better, unless you’re buying a seasoned pro, which none of these are. Please, lets get something soon that shows us that our recruitment is going to be on par with the rest of the league.

Yes, Pat don’t be silly what were you thinking for a 23 year old! We never buy anyone under the age of 29, usually with dodgy knees or at least one ACL and prone to recurring hamstring injuries! We won’t mention betting and gambling issues!
