Graham Potter waits anxiously for the results of a scan on Lucas Paqueta who injured himself at training at the London Stadium yesterday.

The Brazilian Hammer will undergo a medical scan this morning to determine the extent of his training injury as the injury curse continues to hit West Ham.

The 27-year-old rolled his ankle at the London Stadium in front of the invited press and was in obvious pain and described as ‘distraught. by the London Standard.

West Ham club sources speaking exclusively to Claret and Hugh overnight say it is too early to say, it could be nothing or he could be out for four weeks.

The Hammers forward has only just returned from a hip injury which kept him out of action for 16 days and one game.

West Ham will be hoping the results of the scan will be positive and he could yet declared fit after a few days’ rest.

Much better news than expected – Ex is reporting that “ Lucas Paqueta’s scan results are back for his rolled ankle, The club have now confirmed that the Brazilian is out for 3-4 weeks.”

Swear I just watched a training video put out by the club where Paqueta is taking part. You hear “well done Lucas” after he shoots and score a goal.

This is a question for Sean – I was watching the Mainz 05 match at the weekend and they have a 24 year old striker named Jonny Burkardt valued at €25m. If Steidten was such a knowledgeable and expert on German football how the hell did we end up Fullgrub! It’s just gross negligence and I’m so happy he’s gone so no more Jollie’s to South America etc. By the way he scored one and made one, another Teddy Sheringham just waiting to be discovered!

The player is a shadow of the one we had couple seasons back….get him fit and if he is found not guilty move him on as he is a luxury the team can ill afford…same with Kudus let chelski meet the buyout clause in his contract if they want and if nobody does then keep him and point out to his agent it was they who wanted the clause and the amount stipulated so unless met nobody gets him cheap.
