West Ham United‘s pursuit of Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville has hit a potential stumbling block, with Roma emerging as serious contenders for the highly-rated Dutchman.
The Hammers have identified Summerville as a key transfer target to bolster our attacking options and were hopeful of securing a deal. However, the Italian side’s recent interest could complicate matters for West Ham.
The 22-year-old impressed during Leeds’ Championship campaign last season, scoring 19 goals and providing 10 assists. His performances have attracted attention from several top-flight clubs, with West Ham eager to secure his services.
As a right footed winger, he would be a perfect fit to complete our front line. It would be a crying shame to lose him.
With Roma now entering the race, the Hammers face a challenging task to convince Summerville to choose a move to the London Stadium. The competition for the winger’s signature is set to intensify in the coming weeks. However, it should be noted that it is the same Serie A side who are rumoured to be challenging us for the signature of Juventus winger Matias Soule.
Stop pussying around , get your finger out and sign a few players before they go elsewhere. It is all talk and no deeds
If a selling club wants £35 million for there player what’s the point of Sullivan bidding £20 million. No wonder we only got 3 players in instead of the 8 or so needed & one of those is a freebie. Come on get moving.
Roma don’t have the money and Hammers come up with an insulting bid. Can’t see him going to either
Shocking player just cant see us being interested.
Shocking offer and no need to panic, This shocking player won’t be signing for you any time soon
Never going to pay his transfer fee.
Move on and concentrate on players deemed to be in budget.
£20m or less.
Roma only want players on loan as they havent got a pot to —- in so will not be going to roma .wast ham will not pay what we want .hopefully he stays but doughtfull.
So no one will pay for him but him staying in doubtful? Which one is it Alan?
Yet again Simon points out the bleeding obvious, we face competition 🙈
