West Ham fan gets Haller’s number

|

A West Ham fan who is now a professional urban artist was delighted to have been commissioned to create street art for the Haller shirt number reveal video for the club.

The former Hammers graffiti artist who goes by the professional name of Mr Meano said on his twitter “Absolute honour to paint this for my beloved West Ham and our record signing Seb Haller his week! Thanks so much for the opportunity and best of luck for the coming season Seb COYI”

The artwork has been created on a high rise private wall in the Hackney Wick area close to the London Stadium.

Yesterday West Ham’s record £40.5m signing was given the shirt number 22 for the 2019/2020 season. Haller will join up with the first-team squad at Rush Green on their return from China next week and is likely to have his debut at Craven Cottage against Fulham alongside Pablo Fornals next Saturday who also joins the squad for the first time.

Haller and Fornals will also join Pellegrini and his first-team squad as they fly to Austria to face Hertha Berlin the following Wednesday.

Fabian Balbuena and Arhur Masuaku will also rejoin the squad for the trips to Fulham and Austria.
