West Ham fan guide to Euro 2016

PAYEDimitri Payet has a got a very good chance of starting for France. It is a toss-up between Anthony Martial and Dimitri Payet as to who plays on the left wing. If Payet doesn’t get the nod to start he very likely to be in the bench as an impact sub. France are in Group A.

Saturday 18 June 2016 Republic of Ireland v Belgium 2pm

collins_getJames Collins will probably have to wait patiently for his chance for Wales on the bench. He had a spat with Coleman in 2013 but the two have since patched up their differences. He came on a 64 minute substitute in the recent 3-0 loss to Sweden. He has a good chance of making the bench. Wales are in group B with England.

220px-Angelo_Ogbonna_BGR-ITA_2012Angelo Ogbonna is in Italy’s 30-man squad for UEFA Euro 2016 but unlikely to play or make the bench.  Italy are also in Group E.  A defence containing the Juventus block of Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Berzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini means Ogbonna will find it difficult to get game time unless there are injuries.

Friday 17 June 2016 Italy v Sweden 2pm
Wednesday 22 June 2016 Italy v Republic of Ireland 8pm

  1. I like the last paragraph Sean, thats very good even if known of them apart from Noble deserved to be there in my humble view.It should never be a hardship following England but it’s certanly difficult with so many Spuds in the line up lol

  2. All we can do is hope that Woy doesn’t play all the spuds at once ! The spuds way as described by Cahill ! Which by the way I thought was a dig at the spuds to cover him and therest of the squad if they get stuffed ( when ). If this happens we can give it large ?
IIMO Woy has signed his own exit warrant ! Can’t wait for it to start!!!!!

  3. Nobes was so unlucky not to get a chance but the others..nah not for me

  4. Come On England!!!

  5. Im not too sure he will but I hope Ginge gets some game time.He deserves the chance to play in a tournament like this.Top man 🙂

  6. Monday 13 June: Italy vs Belgium… let’s get this party started, Ogbonna will break Batman’s leg so OM give WHU a discount… that’s my cunning plan lol 😀

    • Italy will be a top team soon Matt.Didnt I read Ace Ventura pet detective was becoming the next national manager lol

      • haha… Ace Ventura lol… I’m desperate, we currently have a good manager and a crappy team, but soon we’ll have a crappy team and a crappy manager… Rio de Janeiro, here we come lol 😀

  7. Hahah 😀

  8. No Milner in the line out, must be a family feud going on,
Would soon not see Llanna in the set up but other then that good looking team if what I have read is right,
Sorry Matte not a good year me thinks for you or my Spanish friends,
Can’t see much further then the Germans again, and the French have Payet and home advantage but they do have a ****head as a manager,
