West Ham fan unlawfully killed – Inquest

An inquest has ruled that a West Ham fan was unlawfully killed when he died on his way home from a game.

BBC News reports that Sami Sidhom was stabbed on his way to his home in Forest Gate, East London.

Sami died at the age of 18 back in 2018 but his killers have never been caught, despite there being a number of arrests and police and family appeals.

Assistant coroner Ian Wade said that he was satisfied that Sami had been attacked “criminally, wickedly, and maliciously.”

Back in 2021, police offered a reward of £20,000 for information leading to a conviction in the investigation to find Sami’s killers, per The Daily Mail, but no justice has yet been done.

Mr Sidhom died in April of 2018 as he travelled home from watching the Hammers play Stoke City at the London Stadium.

A group of men attacked him in the dark and killed him, though there hasn’t been a single conviction.

Everyone at ClaretandHugh hopes justice can eventually be done. Rest in peace, Sami.
