West Ham joint Chairman David Sullivan has revealed West Ham will announce their first signing of the summer in the next 24 hours followed by a big name signing in the next two to three weeks.
Speaking to the clubs official website Sullivan said:
“I continue to work with our player recruitment team to identify players to improve the squad. We hope to announce our first signing in the next 24 hours and follow that up with a big name in the next two-three weeks.”
Speculation is the announcement will be Lassana Diarra who has been training with West Ham for several months while he sorts out a contractual dispute with his former club or 27 year old Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph on a free transfer.
