West Ham get huge Conference financial boost

West Ham received a €2 million (£1.7m) win bonus for qualifying for the European Conference League semi final last night.

With an official attendance of 53,475 last night and an average price of £25 West Ham received another £1.33m in ticket gate money.

Add to that a TV pool money fee for appearing on BT Sport and other international broadcaster worth as much as £500,000 over the two legs.

And Six Foot Two – West Ham Magazine Site (6foot2.co.uk) reports West Ham have now earned an estimated £18m on their Europa Conference League run in prize money, bonus, TV pool money and ticket revenue

The Winner of the European competition pocket: €5 million (£4,23m) and a Europa League place, with the Runner-up getting €3 million (£2.53m)

West Ham could earn as much as £30m if they go all the way and win the Europa Conference League in Prague during June.

    30 million not bad when you add that to all the money you earn from being entered into the Europa league the following season.
