West Ham have give David Moyes a PUBLIC vote of confidence but there is no doubt that Tim Steidten is continuing to monitor end of season managerial candidates.
The Mail is reporting today that the club is 100 per cent behind the manager but the fact remains we face two seriously important games on Thursday and Sunday and big results are expected.
Many fans continue to call for him to be replaced but with the Hammers in ninth place and with a points tally thus far which demonstrates we will remain in the Premier League the club is refusing to panic. The board accept that the football being played is not great but see no reason to dig up compensation cash should they sack him NOW.
However, his end of season departure may well be on the cards with the Europa Cup League critically important given they are top of Group A and need to remain there after Thursday’s Group against Freiburg. Then comes progress in the league, a third round FA Cup match against Bristol City and a trip to Anfield next week for the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup.
West Ham give Moyes a PUBLIC vote of confidence
The Mail claims a source as saying they support the manager 100 per cent and we have been told there is no pressure on him currently. We are into a long term game and a departure at the end of the season remains very much on the cards whether by no contract being offered or by him deciding to quit.
