  1. The problem was clear last season. What was done in the summer? It was clearer still in the autumn. What was done in Jan? Sell Fonte…

All the experts I have heard say you build from the back. Again you can hardly complain if you let in the most goals & go down. This club has been on a suicide mission for some time now. Is the the sound of roosting chickens that I can hear or just another statement from the owners?

  2. That guy that wants to buy Wembley, any chance he might be interested in buying the London Stadium instead!!!

  3. The problem certainly didn’t start this season. After seeing our better ( most dominant ) CBs lost to injury so many times in the last 2 years, and only one defensive midfielder who is also now injured, nobody should be surprised. Obiang is not really up to job, but he at least tried manfully. We should never have sold Tonks, who was a very stable CB.
As for this season you only have to look at the stats to see Bilic’s 6 games where we let in 3 or more was 66% of his total league games, while Moyes’s 9 games were 38% of his total. So a big improvement on Bilic, but still unacceptable. What it shows very clearly is how weak our squad has become. Ogbonna seems to be the mainstay these days, but before the new year he was still making regular schoolboy mistakes. Since new year he has only made one very bad one.
We need at least 2 CBs in the summer if we stay up, but they cost money. I’m am crossing my fingers that, WBA Stoke and Swansea go down so we can get Evans and Mawson, Jonny Evans would only cost £3 million, and Mawson won’t be too much. Let’s face it we ain’t going to get any world beaters, so we need to get basically strong and stable defenders which allow us to move Rice into midfield where he can flourish with less of his learning resulting in goals against.

  4. Absolutely 64…….no investment, poor business acumen etc,etc – we need SERIOUS INVESTORS – the money we need is big bucks spent …which I doubt the board have tbh….
The Man city game was always going to be a big biggenny ask …the problems have been lingering for a long long time now …when we had payet playing he was just covering over the cracks….I hate to say it is can’t see how they can deal all the current issues at the club, the atmosphere is becoming decisive…we can blame Mr Moyes all we want but he can only play with what players he has and that’s not an awful lot…
Let’s hope we get through this season and start the major restructuring of the club …..But they have a hell of a bit job to do before most hammers fans will begin to be happy …But a half decent team ain’t too much to asknow for surely !!!

  5. This is what happens when goalkeepers are swapped and dropped out of hand. we look vulnerable every time a cross comes in. Moyes out.
