West Ham are today claimed to have signed an absolute gem in France under 21 international Isa Diop.
A top Ligue 1 expert Jonathon Johnson has been discussing the youngster who joined the Irons for £22 million after starring at Toulouse.
He said: He has a number of years experience in Ligue 1 for one so young. He was pretty much one of the only bright lights in Toulouse these last couple of seasons.
“I think Toulouse have done very well to get the money they have from West Ham but it’s no real surprise to see him move on. He’s been a highly rated prospect for a while now.
“There were a number of French clubs who wanted him as well but he felt it was the right time to move abroad.”
Looks a good player and hopefully will be for a few years to come 🙂
This lad could be one of the best signings we have made for a while. Hope he develops like people say he will. With PSG reported to be prepared to pay£160 mil for Mbappe aged 19 I still can’t get my head around is why our owners are arguing about paying our own rising star £20,000 per week basic wages. Are we serious when we talk about moving to the next level?
Good signing yes but this is old new are we biggin him up as we have failed to sign anyone else ..😂😂 it’s getting very very worrying now ..it’s starting to look a lot like the other windows as we just can’t get any big deals over the line..pre season next week and it’s just not good enough….I hope not but could cause trouble AGAIN..will they ever learn .
