West Ham horse CotteeMcAvenniGoal is back in action at the races on Monday in Ireland
The horse has been trained in Ireland by Shane Crawley after initially starting with Kim Bailey.
West Ham supporting owner Simon Keane approached his two favourite Hammers, Macca and Tony Cottee with the help of Claret and Hugh in 2019 who immediately gave him permission to use their names and were delighted to have been asked. The horse runs at Leopardstown this Monday 8th March at 1.50 pm
CotteeMcAvenniGoal only other two previous race was at Huntingdon on 23rd November last year in which he was placed 5th out of seven horses and at Leopardstown on Boxing day when he was placed a disappointing 8th.
West Ham fan owner Simon told Claret and Hugh “He’s ready to run at least, but there will be a few hidden gems in this race, hopefully, he could be one of them”
