French magazine Le10 Sport claim that the Hammers are in early talks with Manchester City right back Bacary Sagna who will be out of contract at The Etihad at the end of the season.
Other reports claim Everton and Marseille are interested in the 33 year old.
Sagna made headlines for the wrong reasons recently after he was charged by the FA after he posted a social media post saying “10 against 12′ aimed at referee Lee Mason.
He was later fined £40,000 for the outburst, he later appealed but that too was rejected a few days ago. The right back is though to be on wages around £80,000 per week with City and would be looking for a similar deal to move to the London Stadium on a free transfer.
Why would we even consider a 33 year old who Manchester City obviously do not want. Seems to me like another Arcelor!!!!

I think 80k would be pushing it but he was probably the best rb in the league a few years ago and can probably still do a job in rotation with brand. We NEED a right back. If you think we should only be after players man city want, I think you’re really over estimating us. They have one of the best squads in the league, if not the.
