West Ham injury list grows

|

West Ham injury list seems to be growing by the day with only one Premier League game played.

cressieAaron Cresswell is unlikely to return until late November at the earliest after suffering a serious injury to his knee in the Europa League third qualifying round against NK Domzale. Physio Room have him down as a return on the 26th November which would mean the left back could be fit to face Manchester United on Sunday 27th November at Old Trafford.

sakhoDiafra Sakho has been allegedly suffering with a re-occurring back problem, he missed the pre-season tour in the US at first complaining of a sickness bug and later said he needed to see a specialist in France. He recently failed a medical with West Brom and whatever his injuries really are he needs to regain his match fitness after missing the pre-season. It is claimed he is only weeks ago and regaining his fitness and wants to knuckle down to prove himself again.

Lanzini1Manuel Lanzini is out until September after inuring his knee a friendly game against Columbia in the build up to the Rio Olympics for Argentina. Lanzini is targeting the match against Watford on September 10th for his return to the squad. Head of Medicine Vandenbroucke said last week “He was wearing a knee brace for four weeks. Manuel is out of the brace and has entered a new phase in his rehab and started running (last) Wednesday.”

Doneil Henry was ruled out of action for up to two months after suffering a knee injury during the pre-season friendly against Carolina Railhawks during the US tour. The Canadian centre half suffered ligament damage, an injury that is likely to keep him out of action until September. Club medic Stijn Vandenbroucke said back in July  “Unfortunately we picked up a serious injury to Doneil Henry. He will be out for six to eight weeks with a ligament injury suffered in the pre-season match at Carolina Railhawks.”

Dede-Ayew2Andre Ayew suffered a serious thigh injury on his debut after 34 mins against Chelsea. A club statement says they will await results from a scan and  advice from specialists but owner’s son Jack Sullivan says it could require surgery and he could be out up to four months meaning he may not return until just before until Christmas if true.

Both Dimi Payet and Havard Nodtveit suffered small knocks against Chelsea and have not travelled to Romania for the Europa League game on Thursday as it was decided not to risk Payet. Both are expected to return to action soon after rest.

fegSofiane Feghouli is reportedly suffering from a small hamstring tear. He picked up a knock in the Juventus friendly but continued to train all week. Post Chelsea match Bilic confirmed: “Feghouli picked up something against Juventus. We didn’t think was an injury and he trained for a week, but he missed tonight because he is injured.”

The respected www.physioroom.com is reporting the injury as a hamstring. He is expected to be out of action for a further two weeks.

Haha that put a smile on my face 🙂
God bless the irony that is Andy Carroll!!

This boy JS and his tweet…is this just me or is he really annoying?

No doubt we are doomed now according to some of our illustrious neighbours from elsewhere online? Maybe the dead badger has dragged itself to Chadwell heath?

There must be a curse on every record signing we make. Play for half an hour then be injured for 4 months. We are unable to pick most of our new signings along with both our play makers for the EL game.
Have we got enough money to go and buy another striker? Ayew+£20m=34mins bargin in my book 😉

Sakho passed his medical but was not match fit,
But he would have probably failed a mental medical,
We are still in a better place the last year, with Carroll,Calleri,
Valencia and Fletcher available up top,
    Antonio,Tore,Samulsun,Quina
    Noble ,Kouyate,Poyet,Obiang
    Byram Burke,Oxford,Reid,Collins Ogbonna Page
    All fit to play tonight
We have a much bigger and better Squad add the players above to those and we are looking great,

Carroll calleri is the way to go in terms of two up top partnership. They can sack sakho as far as I’m concerned. He’s not even fit for the knackers yard and he doesn’t want to play for us anyway. I’ve got sympathy for doneil Henry. The lad wants to play but is always injured. Not sure he will ever break into the first team.

Have we ever signed a key player that hasn’t been on the sick list inside a month. It’s like monopoly where everyone gets a ‘go straight to jail’ card
