West Ham interested in David Marshall

There are rumours circulating this evening that West Ham are interested in Cardiff City Keeper David Marshall should Cardiff get relegated.

West Ham are said to have joined Spurs in the chase to sign him should Cardiff go down.

The 29-year-old Scottish international could replace Jussi Jääskeläinen this summer if his contract is not extended as widely speculated.

Despite these rumours, Marshall says he only focusing on keeping Cardiff in the Premier league following their promotion last season.

“I am desperate right now to try to help keep this club in the premier league,” he told Wales Online.

“At this moment in time my personal career does not really come into it. I am going to be judged over these last games now. That’s me, all the other players and the club as a whole.”
