According to TEAMtalk, West Ham are one of several Premier League clubs monitoring Swansea City midfielder Azeem Abdulai. The talented young player has impressed with his performances this season and has attracted interest from top clubs.

Azeem Abdulai made his debut for Swansea City in August 2022 and is quickly establishing himself as a key player for the club.

Abdulai has made seven substitute appearances in the Championship and started three cup matches.

He assisted in a 4-0 league victory over Huddersfield, in one of his first major involvements in the first team.

The skilful midfielder has already been talked about as having the same skill set as the Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham due to his playing style and stature.

    This whole “new/next Jude Bellingham” (from multiple sources) is honestly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. The reason for that is pretty simple considering Azeem Abdulai was born on the 9th of December, 2002 and Jude Bellingham the 29th of June, 2003.

    Kinda difficult to be “the new/next” anything when you’re older than the thing you’re meant to be emulating/surpassing. And, as a Scot, if he can’t make our first team squad then the hype is even more misplaced…
