West Ham United’s pursuit of several key transfer targets has intensified as speculation surrounding their potential moves to east London grows. The Hammers have been busy in the transfer market but still require reinforcements in key positions ahead of the new Premier League season.

With the clock ticking down, the absence of three potential signings from their respective pre-season squads has only fueled the transfer rumors.

Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, a long-standing target for the Irons, was notably absent from the Saints’ squad that faced Eastleigh. Meanwhile, Juventus are heading out for a week-long training camp in Germany, and reported Hammers target Arthur Melo has not been named in their squad with Fabrizio Romano claiming it is because he is expected to be sold..

In another potential development, RB Salzburg defender Oumar Solet, seen as a potential alternative to Jean-Clair Todibo, was missing from the Austrian club’s squad for their match against Sheffield Wednesday.

The exclusion of these players from their teams’ pre-season plans has led to increased speculation about their potential moves to West Ham. With the transfer window nearing its halfway point, the Hammers are under pressure to finalise their squad and compete for a place in Europe.

Competing for a place in Europe will be a tall order with a team possibly full of strangers!

Strangers? We’ve signed THREE players, only one of which is a definite starter 🙄

Yes, we’ve signed three players SO FAR! By the time the season starts we will probably have SEVERAL STRANGERS to each other. They will need to gel quickly. Do you expect that to happen fast enought to get enough points on the board to finish in the European places by season end?
