West Ham United, under new manager Julen Lopetegui, are reportedly leading the chase for free agent left-back Juan Miranda. The Spaniard’s contract with Real Betis expires at the end of the month, sparking a transfer scramble.

Following David Moyes’ departure, Lopetegui, returning to the Premier League after a short stint at Wolverhampton Wanderers, is tasked with revamping the West Ham squad. Solidifying the left-back position is a priority.

Miranda, 24, offers an attractive proposition for the Hammers. Not only is he available on a free transfer, but he also boasts experience in La Liga and European competitions. While La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have shown interest, Miranda seems drawn to the Premier League.

While Wolves, Crystal Palace, FC Porto, and AC Milan are all keeping tabs on Miranda, West Ham appear to be the frontrunners for his signature, according to GiveMeSport. Lopetegui’s presence, potentially offering familiarity and a clear vision for the player’s role, could be a deciding factor.

With financial constraints a potential concern for West Ham, signing a talented left-back on a free transfer would be a smart move. Miranda’s arrival would add depth and competition at the position, while his age suggests he has room to develop further. West Ham appear well-positioned to secure this valuable free agent, but the coming days could see the usual twists and turns as other clubs fight to change Miranda’s mind

This seems to me to be a new era. Let’s be optimistic and stop all the cynicism. We’ve just got the Brazilian whizz kid……oh yes forgot that

All those false Links to players that we cannot afford or won’t pay the required wage or fee are absolutely pointless, so just as i predicted free transfers if we can agree on personal terms which is highly unlikely but we will soon see. But i have some good news for my fellow hammers the widow t****y is to undergo a medical on Friday and our new striker will be none other than sullivan junior as he won’t cost a penny and his already under contract with us he just needs to pass a medical to make sure he is not insane, as this site is making all of us fans.

And Messi is having 2 pies one mash an a bowl of eels with liquor in Bethnal Green so he’s next for a medical

Miranda is a good prospect and is young which is what we need ! Tierney is injury prone so we should avoid and arsenal will want top dollar for him as well COYI

  • Jim says:

What about Kieran Tierney? Would require some money to be spent but shouldn’t be too much. Premier league experience, versatile, decent age and possible captain material. Definitely a leader at least. No shopping in the bargain basement. Show some actual intent.

Another sully freebie how can we compete when he looks to buy rejects and misfits we will never be a club that threatens the big 6
