West Ham have been linked with anotherBundesliga striker in the shape of Werder Bremen’s Max Kruse.
A report in the German paper Bild, claims the striker is of interest to West Ham and they have enquired about his availability.
As with all strikers this summer they are said to face competition from Premier League rivals Everton, West Brom, Southampton and Stoke who also are said to be tracking the 29-year-old. The Striker is said to be available for around £10.5m.
Kruse scored 15 goals in 23 Bundesliga games this season after he was hampered by injuries, forcing him to miss the opening 10 games. Kruse has also picked up 14 caps for Germany so far.
He was omitted from the Germany squad in March 2016 to face England after a nightclub incident in which where he lost £60,000 poker winnings in the back of a taxi. He was later hit with a further £20,000 fine from his club, Wolfsburg. He was left out of the 2014 World Cup winning squad for off-field reasons as well.
Sounds like a no no from the off .
Bizarrely he was also said to have a nutella addiction, he seems to have got over his early career woes now, if there is any truth in it, could be a good punt on this one at least he is proven international quality and that international level is Germany so you don’t get much better than that.
Shame Teddy is not still at the club, they could have had a great game of poker
But Carroll is still around, so Kruse will not have to go to the night clubs all on his own.
Yes he could keep Randolph and Carroll company on an all nighter
‘Hampered by injuries’…..next suggestion please.
…. he’d fit right in with the other crocks – Gary Lewin must be a masochist!
Just more media rubbish.Us and Everton are mentioned as being interested in every player in the world at the moment…
