In a surprising turn of events, West Ham United are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over a potential loan move for newly signed striker Samu Omorodion.

The Hammers had been keen on signing the young Spaniard before Chelsea swooped in to secure his services. With Chelsea aiming to bolster their attacking options with the imminent arrival of Victor Osimhen, they are now considering sending Omorodion out on loan to gain experience.

West Ham could be an ideal destination for the young forward, with the club looking to strengthen their attacking options and provide opportunities for young players to develop. However, the deal is still in the early stages, and there are no guarantees that it will be completed.

If the move materialises, it would represent a unique opportunity for both clubs. West Ham would acquire a promising young talent, while Chelsea would be able to monitor Omorodion’s progress and ensure his continued development.

If true, the perfect situation for both clubs. This would certainly cap an amazing TFR window so far. All that remains is to cut the ‘dead-wood’ and get some more willing talent in by next month.

Why a pic of Julian Alvarez?

what utter nonsense, a fairyland story

  • hippocampusmathclub says:

Not sure this would be a great deal for us. A loan to buy for Jhon Duran would be much more exciting than a player that returns to Chelsea at the end of the season. I’m happy enough with Füllkrug and having Antonio and Ings coming off the bench.

  • Lee K says:

Rubbish.A premier league club cant loan out a new signing to another premier league club in the same window.Maybe do some research

    • My left foot says:

You’re right Lee, ridiculous story for clicks and to get fans worked up when it doesn’t happen

    • Joe says:

I mean you definitely can.. teams do it all the time, we did it with Andy Irving last summer..

      • My left foot says:

No you can’t, Andy Irving was loaned to Klagenfurt in Austria, completely different league in a different country

      • Lee K says:

You definitley cant. And what prem side did we loan Irving to then Einstein?

  • Steve K says:

Hopefully it’s not true we would be better off getting a loan deal for a player that we have the chance of signing. This would be a win for Chelsea

  • Jor doerr says:

I remember we got a Irish lad called rice turned him into one of the best players in the country, but then sold him on for a hundred million, then take him on ,turn him into a great player, then hand him back for nothing….good business

  • My left foot says:

Another c0ck n bull story from the reliable simon leyland. Do you know anything about football? Apart from the article being a bunch of made up lies, you post a picture of a different player (wiggy’s comment) you probably thought was Omorodion cos you had no clue. Out of your 20 posts a day there isn’t any worth reading

unpopular opinion: with broja shipped out to the u21 there is a real pearl diving loan transfer available, optional 10m fee would add some much needed youth and HG potential to our list of strikers

    with ings/antonio gone next season it’s a no-brainer

i appreciate many would be against this after his lack of minutes at fulham and shocking form at a useless chelsea before that but that would be a shrewd signing for the club and give lop a very nice option off the bench today and tomorrow

  • Agent says:

In one of the comments above the commenter incorrectly suggested that a Premier League club cannot buy a player and loan him to another premier league club in the same window. That’s not accurate

  • Agent says:

It would be stupid for West Ham to develop a player like Samu without having any chance of retaining him or buying him as an option when it would be far more sensible to loan a player like Duran and having the option to buy him. Notwithstanding, in Duran’s case it would not be an OPTION but an OBLIGATION. In other words a deferred purchase sir a deferred COMMITMENT to buy which means Duran would essentially be a West Ham permanent signing effectively from day one

  • Cruise19 says:

See bigger pic, we done well so far transfer window, don’t expect too much this year, Duran on free, or January chip as chips. Jlo needs now to deliver. Practically got what the kid in the playground wants, takes time yet not too much. As always have faith and blow our bubbles

  • Pongo says:

An even bigger shock at the olympics as the Argentinian team coached by maradona failed to win a medal in the handball event. 😂😂😂

  • Tricky Dicky says:

Lee K – the link you posted confirms this is a load of bs. ‘premier league clubs cannot loan players to another premier club acquired in the same window’ Fake news COYI

  • Tricky Dicky says:

What other transfer news have you heard, Haaland on loan? 🤡

  • My left foot says:

😂😂😂 chelsea haven’t even signed him
