West Ham United has been offered the chance to sign free agent Yusuf Yazici. The talented midfielder is available after his departure from Lille.

Yusuf Yazici is a 27-year-old Turkish midfielder. He has experience playing for top clubs like Lille, Trabzonspor, and CSKA Moscow. Yazici won the Ligue 1 title with Lille in 2021 and has impressed with his performances throughout his career.

The 27-year-old, still yet to hit his prime, boasts 64 goals and 39 assists across his career to date and is believed to also been offered to Manchester United.

Mesut Özil, a former Arsenal and Real Madrid star, has praised Yazici’s talent and potential. Özil believes that Yazici has the ability to play at a high level and succeed at a big European club.

It remains unclear whether West Ham United will pursue Yazici but Irons have already shown a willingness to look at the free transfer market in recent days.

Yazici’s experience, versatility, and potential does make him an intriguing option for the right club. However, following the signing of Carlos Soler, we can probably write this rumour off as idle speculation.

  • Steveo says:

Whilst Yazici may be a good player I personally don’t think we need him as our midfield is strong enough I believe. As I have said on here previously I believe a better left back would be a better option. Emerson is good offensively but defensively he can be a liability at times.

      Spot on Steveo.
Emerson; good going forward, liability at the back.

This emphasises the need for more left-sided defenders, particularly when playing 3 at the back.

I’d have a large bet that this is a no go nonsense. Midfield as an area we’ve got well covered.
