It is being reported that Jarrod Bowen is set to miss West Ham’s Premier League fixture against Manchester City today.

Bowen is reported to have contracted tonsillitis and as a result has not traveled with the team for the final game of the season. While West Ham’s top scorer being absent will have no impact on the Hammers’ EPL position, it could significantly affect the destination of the title.

Arsenal need West Ham to get some sort of result at The Etihad this afternoon to have any chance of winning the Premier League title. Even with Bowen in the team, it’s highly unlikely that David Moyes’ side would be able to inflict any damage on Pep Guardiola’s treble winners.

However, the loss of West Ham’s player of the year will only further diminish any chances that an upset will occur and change the direction of the title race.

Arsenal face Everton today and sit two points behind City in second place.

What on earth are you talking about? Moyes has spent over £500m and we at the limit on FFP. Spend any more and we would have a points deduction like Forest abd Everton. Don’t you understsnd the rules?

30 minutes into game, possession 87% man city 13% west ham.
Apparently possession statistics don’t mean much with west ham but how many times have they conceded first goal early.
Kudus all over the pitch and helping terrible whu defence.
Zoom(a) looks anchored to spot as Foden scores second goal.
Finally Kudus manages to get into scoring position and scores fabulous goal.
Paqueta name not mentioned until 42nd minute.
    Bring on academy players.
If this continues Moyes will be remembered for wrong reasons.
